Passkey projects don't fail loudly.
Passkey projects stall between priorities, run past estimates, and launch with tradeoffs nobody chose. Ideem brings proprietary passkey technology and the team that implements it, so you ship once and ship right.

Where passkey projects die
Four stages. Most teams hit at least one.
Passkeys lose to revenue features every quarter, while the OTP bill and the phishing exposure keep running.
A production build runs 25 to 30 engineer-months, and most teams that build passwordless in-house miss their date.
Rollouts that treat enrollment as a settings toggle flatline within six months.
When researchers tested 103 live deployments, none passed every security check, and recovery floods the support queue.
Passkeys+ ends all four
Not with more consulting hours. With a product that already solved the hard parts.
One sprint, not a build.
The authenticator, the ceremonies, and the hardening already exist. The ask on your roadmap is integration, not construction.
The tradeoffs are already solved.
Sync and device binding in one credential. Recovery in the lifecycle. One behavior across iPhone and Android.
Enrollment built to convert.
In-flow prompts at high-intent moments, bound to strong authentication. Never a buried settings toggle.
Validation lives in the platform.
Run against the researchers' own tests, our deployment passed with zero high or critical findings.
And an implementation team that tunes all of it to your stack, your risk model, and your support desk.
The business case, not just the build
Passkeys deliver a business case faster than any other authentication route: the SMS bill goes away, phishing-driven fraud drops, and fewer logins and payments are abandoned. But faster and easier are irrelevant if nobody enrolls, which is why adoption is a deliverable and the benefits are counted, not assumed.
OTP spend eliminated
Fraud exposure down
Conversion up
Your four options,
For banks and fintechs that need passkeys done right the first time, this is why we exist.
Don't take our word for it.
0 of 103
Independent university researchers tested 103 live passkey deployments across the web. None passed every security check.
Zero
high or critical findings when the same tests were run against Ideem's deployment. 39 of 42 checks passed.
The pushback we hear, answered
We can't get passkeys prioritized internally. How does Ideem change that?
Ideem changes the internal conversation from a security project to a revenue project. A passkey rollout with Ideem carries a business case: the OTP bill goes away, phishing-driven fraud drops, and fewer logins and payments are abandoned. Because Ideem integrates in one sprint, the ask on your roadmap is weeks of integration, not quarters of construction, which is a much easier priority to win.
We already have an identity provider. Doesn't it do passkeys?
Most identity providers offer standard platform passkeys, which come with the standard tradeoffs: you pick between syncing and device assurance, and adoption is left to you. Ideem works alongside your identity provider rather than replacing it. Passkeys+ adds a proprietary composite authenticator with device binding, plus the adoption program and edge-case handling that turn passkeys from a feature into a result.
Our engineers are strong. Why can't we build this?
Strong engineering teams can absolutely build passkeys, and that is exactly how most of the failures happen: the team ships the standard platform authenticator with its standard tradeoffs, then owns every edge case and validation check permanently. Incorrect implementation can lead to security vulnerabilities that your team is stuck managing and remediating. Ideem brings an authenticator that already solved the hard parts and a published security scorecard to prove it, so your engineers spend their time on your product.
What exactly is proprietary about Passkeys+?
Passkeys+ is a phishing-resistant, cryptographic composite authenticator built on a proprietary device-binding layer using multi-party computation. Unlike standard platform passkeys, Passkeys+ delivers syncing and device binding in the same credential: users keep the convenience of synced passkeys while Ideem can prove exactly which device is signing. The cryptographic module is FIPS 140-3 certified.
Can we start in-house and bring you in later?
You can, and some teams do, but the economics rarely favor it. A production passkey build runs 25 to 30 engineer-months, and the hardest problems, enrollment, recovery, and cross-platform behavior, arrive after launch. Starting with Ideem costs one sprint of integration, so the switch-later path usually means paying for the same result twice. An Ideem assessment is free, so the cheapest option is to scope both paths before you commit to either.
How long does an implementation actually take?
An Ideem implementation takes one sprint of engineering integration: SDK support for native apps and browser integrates in a single sprint. The adoption program, enrollment flows, and edge-case handling ship alongside it as productized deliverables rather than an open-ended consulting engagement. Compare that with in-house builds at 25 to 30 engineer-months, where most teams that build passwordless themselves miss their date.
